EMDR
Everyone has a natural ability to heal. We all experience difficult situations in life and often enough, we are able to ‘process’ the information (images, sights, sounds, feelings, sensations, thoughts) from these events ourselves or with the help of friends and family. EMDR therapy boosts our natural ability to integrate our emotions, beliefs, and body sensations related to more challenging and traumatic experiences. Processing these experiences allows us to make sense of them and release us from negativity.
GROUP WORK
Welcoming emotions (WE) is a six part (trauma informed) group program designed to cultivate responsiveness through awareness of emotional cues, predictions and expression. WE explores different ways to respond to emotions and effectively communicate our needs with others. Participating in the WE program is a constructive way to prepare for your therapy journey.
